Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is a leading supplier of plasma and ion beam equipment to the compound semiconductor industry. Products range from small stand-alone systems, aimed at the R&D market, through to fully clustered cassette to cassette platforms for high throughput production processing. OIPT has focused and positioned its business to better serve its compound semiconductor customers by following a key market strategy through providing tailored solutions to both the opto- and micro-electronic industry. By combining expertise in both plasma and ion-beam technologies, OIPT provides processes for almost all devices within the wireless and optical telecommunications markets, including DWDM components such as transmission and pump lasers, optical amplifiers and high quality narrow channel optical filters.
