MOKE magnetometryA separate optical apparatus is dedicated to the measurement of hysteresis loops. Measurements are made at a wavelength of 633 nm with a stabilised HeNe laser. A specially designed electromagnet allows wide field optical access. It may also be rotated so as to magnetise the sample in different directions relative to the plane of incidence, allowing vector magnetometry measurements to be made. |
