Since October 1997 I have been working with Professor D.A.King at the Cambridge University Chemical Laboratory. I'm studying the behaviour of molecular adsorbates on metal surfaces, especially in relation to heterogeneous catalysis. Click here to see my current homepage.
Recently....
Until recently, I was employed as a post-doc in the Physics department, working
with Dr.G.P.Srivastava on the problem of
surfactant mediated growth
of
semiconductors. We used the EKSETERab initio plane-wave pseudopotential
LDA code.
Not So Recently....
I completed my PhD at Exeter University in 1995, under the supervision of Dr.G.P.Srivastava and
Professor J.C.Inkson.
My thesis is entitled "Quasiparticle Band Structures
of Semiconductors and their Surfaces" and is concerned with
the quantum mechanical many-body problem
of electrons in semiconductors. Some of the basic ideas behind my PhD work are discussed non-mathematically in my Introduction to Solid State Many-Body Theory, which is gradually coming on-line.
Publicly....
Why not take a look at my list of
publications ?
Personally....
All the fun stuff is now on my Personal Home Page (on a different server).
