About my Work in Exeter

I was a postdoc working in theoretical solid state physics. More specifically I carried out LDF modelling of defects in semiconductors. I was mainly interested in carbon doping in GaAs and analogous materials. In the past I have also carried out research into various defects in diamond.

About My Previous Work

I carried out the research for my PhD in the Theory of Condensed Matter Group in the physics department at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

My thesis 'A First Principles Study of Defects in Diamond' can be downloaded as a gzipped tar file from the Newcastle Theory of Condensed Matter Group Archives from the gopher server (As can all theses from the group since 1990).
