Badges for Graduate Radiographers

Issue of Badges

It is a tradition within many healthcare professions for members to wear a badge signifying where they qualified as part of their uniform. Successful graduates of the BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) programme may collect their badge from the Student Services Office in the Physics building as soon as the degree results are published.

Replacement Badges

For obvious reasons, radiographers are expected to take care of their graduate badge. If a replacement is needed, a 'Replacement Badge Request Form' should be obtained by contacting the Student Services Office. It will be necessary for the graduate to prove their identity and for the University to confirm that they attended and successfully completed the BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) programme. An administration fee (£10 in 2009/10) will be levied to cover the cost of the replacement badge, administration and postage.
