Job Description
Oversight of matters involving and affecting technical staff, in particular:
- recruitment
- illness
- promotions
- scheduling and priorities of work
- discipline, smooth running
- personal contacts with lab supervisor and workshop managers.
- Oversee the provision of liquid cryogens to users in the School, in particular:
- monitor the finances of the facility;
- monitor cryogen usage;
- inform staff of problems associated with cryogen production, or interruptions to the supply, to enable them to plan their research.
