Programme Lead (Radiography)

Job Description

Areas of responsibility:

1. Day-to-day line management of undergraduate teaching team;
2. Attends PHC meetings for Programme Leads;
3. Liaison with IPL co-ordinator regarding PHC IPL;
4. Liaison with Clinical Placement Coordinator;
5. Attends the Link Radiographer Group and the Radiography Education Steering Group;
6. Module allocations, tutorial group allocations;
7. Timetabling;
8. Minor syllabus changes;
9. Manages library budget (including book and journal requests);
10. Approval of day-to-day expenses within the budget;
11. Liaison with SHA (via Operational Management Group);
12. Attends Learning and Teaching Committee;
13. Attends Student-Staff Liaison Committee;
14. Co-ordination of undergraduate programme.
15. Assign peer-observers.
16. Assign checkers/second-markers to assessments.
17. Deliver an induction lecture to each Stage, clarifying Stage requirements, academic expectations, etc.
