Mrs Gillian S. Whaites

I am a clinical tutor for the BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) degree programme. I am employed (approximately 1 day per week) by the University of Exeter for the purpose of placement support and, as such, an an ambassador for the University and programme. Clinical tutors support both the students and placement staff as part of this role. As a clinical tutor, I visit Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Dorchester and Yeovil Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I work the rest of my time as a NHS employed diagnostic radiographer within the Radiology Department at Yeovil Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

My specific interests within Medical Imaging are Radionuclide Imaging and trauma imaging.
