Exeter students at UK Radiological Congress

Final-year Exeter Radiography students present their research at the 2009 UK Radiological Congress

The Centre for Medical Imaging provides high-quality education for radiographers at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level underpinned by our clinical research.

Undergraduate study

BSc (Hons) Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography)

 

  • 'Commended' in the latest Quality Assurance Agency review (the highest possible classification).

  • 8th in the UK for world leading and internationally excellent research (RAE 2008)

  • 3rd in the UK for overall satisfaction in the National Student Survey (2008)*

  • Clinical placements in 10 hospitals across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

  • Membership of the Peninsula Health Collaboration providing inter-professional learning opportunities.

*based on the average of positive responses for full service universities (i.e. excluding specialist colleges)

Postgraduate study

Starting later this year, postgraduate mammography education and, in collaboration with The School of Psychology, a professional doctorate in clinical research.

Clinical research
